Foxconn is the global leader in manufacturing services for the computer, communication and consumer electronics industries. The company has facilities in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Foxconn generated total annual revenue of $135 billion in 2016 and was ranked No. 27 on the 2017 Fortune magazine Global 500.
Foxconn will be constructing an advanced display manufacturing campus in Racine Wisconsin to produce liquid crystal display (LCD) panels for a variety of industries. At an estimated $10 billion investment, it will be one of the largest manufacturing campuses in the world. One economic study predicted the Foxconn plant will add $51 billion to Wisconsin’s gross domestic product over the next 15 years.
